Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the pet waste removal services provided by Wag & Scoop LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking or receiving any service from Wag & Scoop, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not book our services.

1. Services Provided

Wag & Scoop LLC provides recurring and one-time pet waste removal services for residential and commercial properties in Forney, TX and surrounding areas. Our services include the removal and eco-friendly disposal of dog waste, optional sanitizer and deodorizer treatments, and related yard cleanup services as agreed at the time of booking.

Service schedules (weekly, bi-weekly, or one-time) will be confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline service for any property we determine to be unsafe or inaccessible.

📌 All service rates are as listed on our website at the time of booking. Current pricing: Weekly service from $20/visit (1 dog) · Bi-Weekly $35/visit · Twice a Week $16/visit. Additional dogs +$4/visit each. Pricing may vary based on yard size. We will provide at least 30 days’ written notice before any price changes take effect for existing recurring clients.

2. Payment Terms

Billing & Card on File

All recurring clients are billed on a monthly basis. Billing is processed on the 1st of each month for that month’s scheduled services. You may cancel anytime before the next billing cycle with no penalty or cancellation fee. For one-time cleanups, payment is due in full before service begins.

A valid credit or debit card is required on file before services begin. Your card details are never stored directly by Wag & Scoop — all payment information is encrypted and processed securely through our third-party payment processor.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you via text or phone within 24 hours. Service will be paused immediately until payment is resolved. We do not provide service on accounts with an outstanding balance — payment must be received before the next scheduled visit resumes. Wag & Scoop reserves the right to terminate service if payment is not received before the next scheduled visit.

First Cleanup Promotion

The “First Cleanup Free” promotion applies exclusively to the first scheduled visit for new clients who sign up for a recurring weekly or bi-weekly service plan. One free visit per household. The promotional visit has the same full value as a standard paid visit.

3. Scheduling & Property Access

Access to Your Yard

Client is responsible for ensuring that our team has safe and unobstructed access to the service area on the scheduled day. This includes ensuring that gates are unlocked, aggressive animals are secured, and any hazards are communicated to us in advance.

Dogs on Property

If you have a dog that may behave aggressively toward our team, please notify us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to skip a visit and charge a lockout fee of $15 if our technician cannot safely access the yard due to an unsecured dog after prior notice has been given.

Rescheduling by Wag & Scoop

In the event of severe weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control, we will notify you at least 1 hour before your scheduled visit and reschedule within the same week at no additional charge. In the rare event we are unable to reschedule in the same week, that visit will be provided free of charge.

4. Cancellation & Service Changes

Cancellation by Client

You may cancel or pause recurring service at any time by providing at least 24 hours’ notice before your next scheduled visit via text or phone. There is no cancellation fee and no contract to break.
⚠️ Cancellations received with less than 24 hours’ notice before a scheduled visit may result in a late cancellation fee equal to the cost of that visit, as our technician will have already allocated time on their route for your property.

Cancellation by Wag & Scoop

We reserve the right to cancel or terminate service in the following circumstances:

  • Unsafe working conditions on the property
  • Repeated failure to maintain a valid payment method on file, preventing billing
  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward our team
  • Repeated inability to access the service area after prior notice

In the event we initiate cancellation without cause, we will provide 7 days’ advance notice and refund any prepaid amounts for unused services.

Service Holds / Pauses

You may pause recurring service for up to 4 weeks per calendar year without penalty by providing 48 hours’ advance notice. Service will automatically resume at the end of the pause period unless otherwise notified.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee & Re-Service Policy

We stand behind every visit. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a completed service, please notify us within 24 hours of the visit. We will return to re-clean your yard at no charge. If the re-service does not meet your satisfaction, we will refund that visit in full.
The satisfaction guarantee applies to the quality and completeness of waste removal. It does not cover conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to: waste deposited after our visit, damage from existing lawn conditions, or health/pest issues pre-existing on the property.

6. Dog & Pet Safety Policy

We are genuine dog lovers — meeting your pups is honestly the highlight of every route. That said, even the friendliest dog can become protective of their space when a stranger enters their yard. A dog defending their turf isn’t misbehaving; they’re just doing their job. To keep both your pet and our team safe, we have a simple policy:

Please Have Dogs Indoors Before We Arrive

We ask that all dogs be safely inside the home before our technician enters the yard. We will always send you a heads-up text before arriving so you have time to bring them in. Service typically takes 10–20 minutes, and then the yard is all theirs again.

If Dogs Are Present in the Service Area

If dogs are present and loose in the yard when our technician arrives, the visit will not be completed for the safety of your pet and our team. We will contact you to reschedule as soon as possible at no additional charge for the first occurrence. Repeated occurrences (more than twice within a 30-day period) may result in a rescheduling fee equal to the cost of one visit.
🐶 We know life happens! If your dog slips out or your schedule changes, just send us a quick text before our arrival time and we will work it out with you. We are flexible and we will never make you feel bad about it. This policy exists to protect everyone — your dog included.

Aggressive Dogs

If you have a dog with a history of aggression toward strangers, please disclose this at the time of booking. We will work with you to establish a safe plan. In cases where a dog presents an imminent safety risk and cannot be secured, Wag & Scoop reserves the right to skip that visit without charge and discuss alternative arrangements.

7. Limitation of Liability

Wag & Scoop LLC is fully insured and maintains general liability insurance coverage. In the event of property damage caused directly by the negligence of our team during a service visit, please notify us in writing within 48 hours with photos and a description of the damage.
Our liability for any claim related to a single service visit is limited to the cost of that visit, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. We are not liable for:
  • Pet illness or injury unrelated to our direct actions on the property
  • Pre-existing lawn, fence, or property damage
  • Damage caused by unsecured animals on the property
  • Health issues identified in waste that were not reported to a veterinarian
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
🛡️ We are fully insured. In the event of any covered incident, we will cooperate fully with any insurance claim process.

8. Health Observations Disclaimer

Our technicians are trained to notice potential signs of health issues in dog waste, including unusual color, consistency, presence of parasites, or foreign objects. If we observe something potentially concerning, we will notify you as a courtesy.
Important: These observations are informal courtesy notices only and do not constitute veterinary advice or diagnosis. You should always consult a licensed veterinarian for any health concerns regarding your pet. Wag & Scoop assumes no liability for pet health outcomes based on or related to these observations.

9. Privacy & Information Use

We collect your name, phone number, address, and payment information solely for the purpose of providing and billing for our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or necessary to process payments through our secure payment processor.
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Wag & Scoop including service confirmations, arrival notifications, and completion texts. Standard message rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes that affect your rights as a recurring client will be communicated via text at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of our services after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration in Kaufman County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Holiday Service Schedule

Wag & Scoop observes the following holidays and does not provide service on these dates:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day

If your regularly scheduled service day falls on one of the holidays listed above, your visit will be skipped for that week. Our team will return on your next regularly scheduled visit and will clean up all accumulated waste from both the missed period and the current visit at no extra charge.

📅 Holiday skips are not eligible for refunds or service credits. By subscribing to a recurring plan, you acknowledge and agree to this holiday schedule. We will send a courtesy reminder text before any upcoming holiday that affects your service.

13. Non-Discrimination Policy

Wag & Scoop LLC is committed to providing services to all customers regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship status, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, disability (physical or mental), medical or genetic information, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

We believe everyone deserves a clean yard and a great experience. We will not refuse service to any person on the basis of any of the characteristics described above. Any concerns about discriminatory treatment may be directed to us directly at Support@thewagandscoop.com.
